IN PARALLEL UNIVERSE
As kids we often run our imagination in different dimensions and come up with strange ideas and assumptions regarding different objects. When I was a kid, I always assumed that certain things performed different function in an alternate dimension.
‘In Parallel Universe’ is a series of imaginative functions that objects are capable of performing. These are the alternative uses of usual objects that are interesting and intrigues one to really question the limit of functionality and design.
DENIM RIVETS
The purpose of rivets in our jeans is only limited to protecting them from ripping at the seams. Those can hang an extra set of pockets or keys or id.
COOKIE CUTTERS
A cookie cutter very efficiently replacing a knife. A cookie cutter not only gives fun shaped bites, but also requires less labour and skill.
BALLOON LID
The elastic property of a balloon makes it an efficient lid for a lot of different sized vessels. It can be squished into a small based ball for a narrow vessel and a flat-based top for a broader one. It also seals and holds the mouth very well.
